Porting software to NetBSD

Task

NetBSD is a free, portable Unix operating system. Besides the stable base system there is the pkgsrc framework, which can be used to build and install third-party software. Most third-party software is developed with a focus on Linux. Hence, this software is patched and tested to run on NetBSD.

My Managed Packages

  • Cyrus IMAP 3.0 - an enterprise-ready E-Mail- and Groupware-Server
  • Zim - a Desktop Wiki
  • xtrlock - a small tool which helps to lock the screen

Besides porting software, I maintain my own package repository for the NetBSD installations used by my customers.
