Monitoring of Cloud Services

Task

To accompany the outsourcing of IT infrastructure, the customer wanted a lightweight monitoring solution to monitor critical parameters such as network quality and server availability and utilization.

Solution

A customer-specific monitoring solution was implemented for monitoring the heterogeneous network and server landscape (Windows and Unix hosts) based on OpenSource components. In addition customer-specific Prometheus exporters were developed, e.g. for volume management and the monitoring the license usage of a business application.
